About me

Based in Kent in southern England, I have been involved with bikes from a very early age, in fact for over fifty years.

My weekends are taken up by my position as an event mechanic on both Wiggle's and Cycling Weekly's sportive series as well as Eroica Britannia, but the rest of my time is devoted to my passion of restoring classic steel lightweight bikes.

Where it all began.....

Davies Brothers in Cuppin Street in Chester, the local cycle shop who looked after a lot of the local club lads bikes, where at the age of thirteen in 1962, I began a Saturday job as workshop assistant on a wage of ten shillings for the day.  One of my first jobs was to help build two Campagnolo equipped Woodrup Italias for two members of the local Deeside Olympic club....... the rest is history !

What I can do for you

I am constantly sourcing frames and components as well as complete bikes to fully restore.

I also restore customers own bikes.

Should you have a "dream" vintage bike in mind then I will undertake commissions  to source and build this for you.

I use internationally reknown specialist painters and chromium platers to refinish all frames.
